BABY FOODS

my baby hasn’t had any teeth pop through whatsoever , and at 7 months I knew she needed to start eating food, and I mean the food I’m eating.. being a first time mom I knew I had to figure out what I could give her without panicking she would choke or not being to chew , however these items she can eat and eat well with no worries 🙂

  1. PUFFS- she loves these, i was hesitant at first but I’m glad I tried them, she currently loves Chedder Puffs and Breakfast buffs.
  2. EGGS- my baby loves eggs , they are really easy for her to moosh around
  3. Mashed Potatoes – these are really easy for her !
  4. Avocado – she’s not really a fan
  5. Strawberries- she loves strawberries! Make sure to only give your little one the soft part or steam it entirely !
  6. Ravioli – she loves loves loves ravioli !
  7. Bananas – my baby loves bananas , I moosh it up for her and she goes to town
  8. Broccoli Mac N Cheese – One of her favs!
  9. Any purres
  10. Teething chew bars! Surprisingly she does great with these, we are always traveling and these are good for on the go! As well as any purred pouches !
  11. Rice – she loves rice and eggs !

There more items my baby loves however I have to fully cook and make sure it is mash able, I’ve learned that if I can mash the food with my thumb and index finger with no problem she will be fine, babies are smart, they have a natural gag flex ! I hope this helps some of you mamas with babies that still have no teeth !!

 

 

When my baby hit 4 months I figured teeth would be arriving soon, any little milk spec I would think maybe she will get a tooth soon. Months went by no teeth. When she got to 7 months and still had no teeth I was like , “welp gotta hop off the scared train and feed her FOOD !! And the food I eat ! “

Now at 12 months this Saturday still ZERO TEETH, here are 8 FOODS my baby can EAT that I eat !

  1. EGGS 🍳 Little Artsie started on eggs and she really enjoys them , especially when I add shredded cheese :.)
  2. AVOCADO 🥑 i make sure it’s a good mooshy texture that I can squish with my index and thumb then I know it’s safe for her strong Gums!
  3. Spaghetti ! This is a great item to introduce flavor ! Although it’s Carby and not the healthiest , I still feel is a great food for my baby to eat that she Enjoys and practices chewing.
  4. Carrots ! Carrots cut up and steamed she loves !
  5. Broccoli with Mac and Cheese – this is by far one of her favorites and something she has at least twice a week!
  6. Puffs / teething crackers. These always freaked me out but we took it slow and it’s great to take on the go and she loves them
  7. Bananas ! I mostly love to give her bananas for dessert. She LOVES them sooo much!
  8. Ravioli – one of her all time favs LOL

P.s she had pancakes for the first time this morning and was in a good mood all day…

Was it a coincidence… I think not ! LOL

Now at 12 months and still ZERO TEETH, here are a list of some FOODS my baby can EAT with no problem !

1. Eggs : Little Artsie started on eggs and she really enjoys them , especially when I add shredded cheese :.)

7. Squash :loves this when it’s baked
8. Potatoes

10. Ribs
11. Rotisserie chicken : one of her FAVS
12. Chicken : soft parts only and small portions
13. white rice
14. Puffs / teething crackers : These always freaked me out but we took it slow and it’s great to take on the go and she loves them
15. Bananas : I mostly love to give her bananas for dessert. She LOVES them sooo much!
16. Apples : Small small pieces !
17. Ravioli : one of her all time favs LOL

Overall I try to give my baby just about everything we eat as a family as long as i know it’s something she is safe having and is ready for.

Only YOU know your baby and know when it’s time for certain items. Don’t be afraid! I feel the fear of her choking held me back more when she could’ve been enjoying amazing food !

P.s she had pancakes for the first time this morning and was in a good mood all day…
