We sometimes wonder what the heck we could do with our little ones if they aren’t feeding or sleeping. My second little one Cleo just turned 3 months yesterday and these are the activities she absolutely loves :
She loves tummy time ! According to “The Bump” “Aim for around 20 to 30 minutes a day of baby tummy time by the time he is 3or 4 months old. Then keep the practice up until baby can roll over on his own, a feat many babies accomplish around 6 or 7 months of age” I find it so exciting to watch over time how strong and determined your little one becomes during tummy time. My first born Artsie hated tummy time so much!! Every baby is different !
BOUNCER / SWING / MACHINE
Cleo absolutely loves to be in her swing, bouncer and Mamaroo machine , each has a different feature and the cutest melodies for her to listen too. They also have eye gazing little stuffed plushies for her as well! I love these features in the baby machines because they can be a helpful aide for your little one if you need to get the dishes done, or cooking etc.
Each item is lightweight & the Mamaroo is Bluetooth operated !
I remember when my Artsie loved her activity mat , she would gaze into the cool toys and bright colors for a great time. I loved how stimulated she would get by kicking her feet, smiling and laughing. This is a great way for your little one to spend sometime looking at shapes / colors / and noises. These will entertain your little one for a good 4-5 months !! Not including if you have a toddler they will love to bounce around the toys for your baby. Haha my toddler just about shows her little sister everything !!
I Love reading to my girls , its so heart wrenching watching their imaginative eyes glance at each page as I create my wacky characters in each book I read to them. Heck sometimes I change the story up a bit cause they don’t know yet LOL you gotta do what ya gotta do!
Some of our favorite books so far are :
Baby Shark Book
The BATH TIME BOOK
1 2 3 Book
And many more !
SOCK & WRIST RATTLES
BIG OMGS. This one is a game changer mamas , the wrist rattles were a hit with my first born and now I was gifted with sock rattles for my 3 month old Cleo, she absolutely loves them and they are such a great way for baby to have some fun while learning to develop hand eye coordination.
At 3 months your little is still little ,he or she is still learning so much in the big world around her. My baby loves when I coo at her and make oooooh noises. Just your attention alone gives baby such a great activity of entertainment !
Snuggle away, this time goes by too fast at this age !
What activities does your 3 month old love to do ?
